Jodie Foster "Comes Out" Revealing Her Sexuality.

At the Golden Globes – where in accepting the Cecil B DeMille award for lifetime achievement, she made the first public acknowledgement of her sexuality. In a frank, emotional and occasionally baffling speech, Jodie Foster spoke publicly about her sexuality for the first time last night. She announced she was single, before explaining,
"I already did my big coming out about a thousand years ago in the stone age, in those very quaint days when a fragile young girl would open up to trusted friends, and family, co-workers and then gradually, proudly, to everyone who knew her." Now, she went on, "every celebrity is expected to honour the details of their private life with a press conference, a fragrance and a prime-time reality show."
