So I just got into Port Harcourt today onboard the 3pm Arik flight. We were in Port-Harcourt Airspace by 5.00pm on the dot. But we landed by 5:50pm because we were kept in a holding parttern because of VIPs were leaving on their Jets from the Airport. Whilst we were circling the Port-Harcourt skies, I could see private jets below us jetting about. We were kept circling for 45minutes.

A gunman with an assault rifle opened fire in a crowded terminal at Los Angeles International Airport Friday, killing a TSA employee and injuring at least six before being wounded and taken into custody. Update On Shooting At Los Angeles International Airport, Officials Confir Incident.

People been ushered out of the airport.
A gunman opened fire at LAX, injuring several people and prompting an evacuation at the airport, ABC News reports. Few details were immediately released, but CBS reports that there were evacuations at Terminals 2 and 3, as well as multiple injuries. A suspect with a high-powered rifle was shot and secured by cops at about 9:30 a.m. local time, authorities told CBS. It's unclear how the alleged gunman got through security.

Breaking News Shots Fired At Los Angeles International Airport

Police and paramedics surrounded a terminal on Friday at Los Angeles International Airport because of a reported shooting. Witness Brian Keech said he heard "about a dozen gunshots" from inside the security gate at Terminal 3.  Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey said emergency crews have responded to a multi-patient incident. The incident was reported after 9:30 a.m and areas in the airport were evacuated.  There was no immediate word of any injuries, but television images showed two people being wheeled away by firefighters. Triage stations also were seen. No other details were immediately available. This shooting is becoming too much in America, everyday one incident or the other.

The bodies of 87 migrants were found on Wednesday in Niger's desert north after they died of thirst just a few kilometres from the border of Algeria, their planned destination, sources said. Okonjo Iweala Denies Issuing Import Waiver For Oduah 255 Million Armored Cars.

The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, on Thursday distanced herself and her office from the raging controversy concerning the two armoured BMW cars recently imported into the country for the Minister of Aviation, Stella Oduah. A federal appeals court issued a ruling Thursday reinstating most of Texas' controversial new abortions restrictions, just three days after a federal judge ruled they were unconstitutional. The panel's decision means as least 12 clinics won't be able to perform the procedure starting as soon as Friday. In its 20-page ruling, it acknowledged that the provision "may increase the cost of accessing an abortion provider and decrease the number of physicians available to perform abortions."

The Katsina State Police Command has confirmed that the former chairman of Ingawa local government area of the state, late Samaila Magaji, was murdered by his estranged homosexual partner, 17-year-old Abba Lawal, a native of Daura.
