It has happened once too many and i am tired of it and this Ejiro Okhipwo will not go unexposed for the fraudster/trickster that he is. He is the promoter of the so called most beautiful girl pageant in Abuja,so i was told when i met him a few months ago while in the middle of a messed up promoters event,i guess they know each other smh. We became friends and i agreed to make an appearance at his October 26th event in Abuja for an honourarium of 100k penre, all for promoting my artist o. Na there i enter one chance.

In a letter dated November 1, 2013, Mr. Falana, representing Mrs. Chime, pointed out that his client has been kept incommunicado in solitary confinement for over four months on the directives of Governor Chime. “Thus our client’s fundamental rights to the dignity of her person, personal liberty, fair hearing, private and family life and freedom of movement guaranteed by the Constitution and the African Charter on Human and People’s Rights (Ratification and Enforcement) Act, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004 have been violated without any legal justification,” it said.

Christian Organisation Of Nigeria Bans Political Campaigns In Churches.

The South-East chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria has banned political campaigns in churches across the zone. It said it took the decision to avoid a repeat of last Saturday church stampede in Anambra State, where about 28 persons reportedly died. The South-East CAN also asked the Federal Government to set up a panel of inquiry to investigate the remote causes of the incident.

Domestic airlines have announced that they will no longer remit charges to aviation agencies until the sector is rid of corruption. The carriers, under the aegis of the Airline Operators of Nigeria, said the decision took effect from November 1, 2013. In a statement on Sunday, the spokesman of the group, Alhaji Mohammed Tukur, complained that heavy charges were being imposed on the airline operators by the aviation agencies.

Nollywood Is Bereaved, Popular Yoruba Actor Dies.

Popular Nollywood veteran actor of Yoruba genre, Pa Ola Ogungbe, a.k.a. Papa Paragon is dead. The respected actor died on the night of Saturday, November 2, 2013, at a hospital in Abeokuta after suffering from a brief illness. The deceased was a member of Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners (ANTP), Abeokuta, Ogun state chapter, until his death. He was the father of a well-known actor, Segun Ogungbe. It could be recalled that Pa Ola Ogungbe has been once reported dead. The mistake was made on November 28, 2012, when he was announced dead rather than his elder brother, another veteran film legend, Pa Akin Ogungbe who died at 78. May his soul rest in the eternal peace. May his sould Rest In Peace. Amen.

Great News : Uganda Varsity Requests For Nigerian Lecturers.

A University in Uganda, the Islamic University Mbale, Uganda has requested to the Nigerian authorities for fifty-seven lecturers in various fields. The request is sequel to a bilateral agreement signed between Nigeria and the Republic of Uganda last month. In the agreement Nigeria renewed its pact to assist the East African country with skilled personnel. The university, Osunyikanmi has not less than 200 Nigerian students in its enrollment presently. He pointed out that beneficiaries of the scheme who would be recruited across the country and be deployed next January are mainly first degree holders with 3 years experience. The written request was submitted through the Nigerian Embassy in Kampalla.

Taraba State Speaker Slumps And Dies.

Tragedy enveloped Jalingo, the Taraba State capital in the early hours of Monday when the Speaker of the House of Assembly, Haruna Tsokwa, slumped and died.Tsokwa, who led the team of lawmakers opposed to the resumption of work by ailing Governor Danbaba Suntai despite his plea, is said to have slumped in his house and was rushed to the Federal Medical Centre. His corpse was later removed from the FMC Jalingo to Taraba Specialist Hospital. Before his untimely death, Tsokwa had come under attack by unknown gunmen on his way out of Taraba State. One of his aides was killed in the attack even though Tsokwa escaped unhurt. The late speaker was being expected to lead a delegation of the state Christian community to the yearly pilgrimage in Israel, when he kicked the bucket. May his soul Rest in Perfect Peace. Amen.

In his latest video address released Sunday, Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau took responsibility for leading October 24 attack on Damaturu, where at least 35 people were murdered. "Look at what happened in Damaturu (capital of northeastern Yobe state)," he said in the video obtained by AFP. "Since we killed them with our hands -- in fact I was the commander of the operation -- so, you cannot say I'm making conjecture".The authenticity of the video clip -- in which Shekau spoke for about 11 minutes in Arabic, Hausa and Kanuri -- could not be independently confirmed. This is a brief message to the world. We carried out the Damaturu attacks with Allah's help, with Allah's might, with Allah's glory and with victory from Allah, the Creator," he said.
