Man Kidnapped And Buried Alive In Imo State.

The community leader at Eziali, Mgbidi, who was reportedly kidnapped by hoodlums and later buried alive, was exhumed. He was abducted on December 27, 2012, and nobody heard from him or knew where he was kept until his lifeless and decomposing body was exhumed after the arrest of the culprits. The deceased had a land dispute with one of his kinsmen, who eventually hired about five assassins and charged them to execute the operation. The abductors demanded 30 million naira for the safe return of the victim. And one of the suspects was abducted at the drop off point. Which led to the arrest of the others.

    Sanusi Lamido has called on the Federal Goverment To ban the groups as a mans to curb insecurity. He also asserted that all ethnic and religious groups in the country were actually political associations donning false cloak.  He made this suggestion at an interfaith dinner organized by the Northern Reawakening Forum  (NRF) in Abuja. He said: “I almost didn’t want to attend this occasion because I am opposed to regional, ethnic and religious groupings in this country. In fact, I would like the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Jamatul Nasril Islam (JNI) , Afenifere and all such other groups to be banned.

Helicopter Crash In London.

At least two people were confirmed dead and alot more people injured after a helicopter hit the top of a crane and crashed into the ground in a ball of flames at the peak of rush-hour in Vauxhall, central London today. After "cartwheeling to the ground", it sent screaming residents, commuters and construction workers running "for their lives" as burning wreckage and aviation fuel covered the road.
