Chief Nitabai InengiteThe abductors of President Goodluck Jonathan’s uncle and foster father, Nitabai Inengite, have rejected an offer of N30 million made by the victim's family. A family source told SaharaReporters that their family had sent word to President Jonathan about their inability to raise the ransom demanded by the abductors. Mr. Jonathan is currently in his home town, Otuoke.
There are indications that he may facilitate the release of funds to pay the kidnappers. Our source said the kidnappers have asked for N500 million. Mr. Inengite was abducted 12 days ago from his Otuoke residence. SR
