Deputy Governor of Ekiti State in Nigeria, Mrs Funmilayo Olayinka, has died of cancer in Lagos. A few months shy of her 53rd birthday. Funmilayo Olayinka is the 1st female deputy governor of Ekiti State, She has been occupying the post of Deputy since 16th October 2010. She is survived by her husband, Arc Lanre Olayinka and three children. May she rest in peace and God would give the family the fortitude to bear the loss. Amen.
