Breaking News : Plane Carry Late Governor Of Ondo State Segun Agagu Crash Lands in Lagos

Eight people are thought to have died after a charter plane crash landed at Lagos airport in Nigeria shortly after take-off. The plane burst into flames on impact, according to a spokesman for the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA). There were 20 people on board. At least eight are known to have died, and one has been taken to hospital.
The NAMA spokesman said the plane, owned by Associated Airlines, had suffered engine failure. It was headed for Akure in the south-west of the country. "The engine failed on take-off and it crash landed and burst into flames," said the spokesman. Ibrahim Farinloye, of the National Emergency Management Agency, said: “We have recovered eight bodies so far, while one person who is badly injured is being taken to the hospital. "The rescue operation is still on." The plane was carrying the body of Governor Agagu and family , 20 people feared dead.
