Justus Esiri's Burial Arrangements Announced.
Family of late Nollywood actor, Chief Justus Esiri, yesterday, released details of burial arrangement for the Village Headmaster. According to the spokesman of the Esiri family and ace photojournalist, Mr. George Esiri, the late actor will be buried in his hometown of Abraka in Delta State on Friday, April 12. There will be service of songs for the late Esiri on April 9, followed by a commendation mass at St. Jude Catholic Church, Mafoluku, Lagos, on April 10. Immediately after the service the body is expected to be flown to Warri in Delta State for the second and final phase of the burial arrangements. According to the spokesman, the body will then proceed to Abraka where there will be another commendation mass/lying-in-state at the Polo Turf in Abraka on April 12. He would be interred in in his house in Abraka.

Lagos State Goverment To Build Floating Schools To Teach Makoko Kids.
With global sea levels rising and flooding becoming more common in many parts of the world, architects are now looking at new ways to construct buildings, such as the Makoko Floating School. The ambitious project is currently under construction in the water community of Makoko in Nigeria. The floating school will not be a totally alien sight to residents - people living in the fishing community of Lagos have built their homes on the water and have traded on it for years.

Beyoncé, Britney Spears and Kim Kardashian were also exposed by the site - although it is unclear how the information was obtained or why these individuals were selected. Social Security numbers allegedly belonging to Mel Gibson, Jay-Z and 15 others matched records in public databases. The Federal Government on Monday night sacked Dr. Harold Demuren, the Director General of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA. The removal of the boss of the highest regulatory agency in the Nigeria Aviation industry was announced in a statement from the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim. “His Excellency, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, has approved the removal of Dr. Harold Olusegun Demuren from Office as the Director General of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) with effect from 12th March 2013. “This is consequent to a careful consideration of Dr. Demuren’s unsatisfactory response to the numerous concerns of stakeholders in the aviation sector. Mr. President wishes him well in his future endeavours,”the statement read. Please after numerous request calling for his sack, i know hes not entirely to blame for Dana air crash but he is also culpable.

Nigerian Terror Group Displayes Video Of Dead Hostages: Warning Extremely Graphic Video
Nigerian local terror group Ansaru released a video to prove that seven construction workers abducted in Bauchi had been assassinated by the group. The group accompanied that video with a statement claiming that the British and the Nigerian government had tried to rescue the hostages. The British government denies the allegation claiming its planes spotted Nigeria were only engaging in transportation of Nigerian troops to Mali. Seven foreign construction workers from the UK, Lebanon, Greece and Italy were kidnapped on February 16th 2013 from a construction site in Bauchi state.

42 Private Jets Land In Lagos Each Day.
No fewer than 42 private jets land at the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos daily, findings by our correspondent have revealed. A statement obtained by our correspondent from Nigeria’s first commercial private jet hangar, Evergreen Apple Nigeria, on Friday indicated that it received 15 private jet fights everyday. Thats about 1200 in one month.it means at least 300 of the flights are recorded every week and 42 every day. Of the 1,200 private flight jets, it was learnt that 450 arrived at Evergreen Apple hanger, while the remaining 750 jets landed at Execujets hangar and other private hangars at the Lagos airport. Private aircraft movements have been on the rise in Nigeria lately due to the increase in ownership of luxury planes. Other airports where there is a boom in private jet flights are Abuja, Kano and Kaduna. Odi egwu.

Bahsid McLean, 23, posed in front of the bathroom mirror holding the bloody head of his slain mother, Tanya Byrd, like a trophy and used his phone to snap the grisly photo as a keepsake, in the image leaked to the New York Post. McLean has been charged with killing Byrd, 45, after an argument in which the mother told her son to grow up and move out of her apartment in the Morrisania neighborhood in the South Bronx.

Tragedy struck in Enugu Saturday night when the Kwara State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Chinwike Asadu, was shot dead by unknown gunmen. His police orderly, Aloha Olaniyi and Driver, Oliver Omeh, who were with him at the time of the incident sustained serious bullet wounds and are said to be lying critically at the National Orthopaedic Hospital, Enugu.
