Dr Irawo Adamolekun Gone Too Soon.
Twitter was abuzz with someone getting shot in Anthony who would have thought it was Dr Irawo Adamolekun the only surviving brother of Dr Ojai Adamolekun. A family of five now just a family of three, how did it happen what went wrong ?
He was only exercising his right to say NO to a robber armed with a gun, he had no fear because he felt he only telling a tout he couldn't have what was not his not knowing that would spell the end of his life. Oh death where is thy sting? We wish he had just given the robber what he wanted so his life could be spared. Now his parents have to mourn the loss of another son, their last born and only son left. Why oh Why? Going down memory lane Irawo lost his big brother Imole Ajileye Seth Adamolekun 17th May, 2004 he was just 21, studying to become a doctor as well. Imole had an accident and never woke from the coma which a lot of things contributed to like no working ambulance, artisans not knowing what the are doing? He never woke and passed on, he was buried on the 18th of May amidst tears. According to his sister
"If the ambulance functioned, he would have survived.
If there were no reckless drivers he would have survived.
If there were airbags in the cab, he would have survived.
This could have been anyone's son, brother, and friend"
Now Irawo, how would his family feel....We should all join hands to support Gov. Babatunde Raji Fashola to ban okada's completely because with out the get away Okada the gun man would not have been able to get away that easily. I might be asking for too much but i pray the culprit is apprehended maybe by the forensic evidence from the bullet wound. Dr Irawo rest in peace our prayers are with the Adamolekuns, no parent should have to bury their children not to talk of children. May the shooter NEVER find peace till he confesses. Below are tweets from Ruggedman and Baby Aoshi who witnessed the incident:
Another persons tweet:
May He Rest in Peace. Amen
