Gunmen, at about 8.55pm on Friday night, shot two police officers in Kaduna, Kaduna State.
The armed bandits, ridding on motorbikes, shot about eight bullets on the police officers, killing them on the spot, at the Kawo-Rasinguza junction in Kaduna metropolis.

Two sisters, Fatima and Munira, were also caught in the line of fire. Fatima was hit in the head and died on the spot too, while her sisters was hit in her hand and was rushed to 44 Military hospital within the city.
The police officers were manning the checkpoint before they were attacked.
Details of the shooting is still unclear but residents who witnessed the shooting said the police have evacuated the corpse of its felled officers. “The killers disappeared in the chaos that followed the shooting.”
Armed soldiers and mobile police officers have since been deployed to the area.
The spokesman of Kaduna State Police Command was not reachable for comments.
Although Kaduna State has witnessed religious riots, a new wave of guerrilla attacks on Nigerian police and army officers started two weeks back in neighbouring Kano State in what seems to be a new offensive by the terrorist Boko Haram sect.
