A gay Nigerian man living in the UK is on the verge of being deported back to his homeland, despite fearing for his life there. He is been detained in a centre till further notice.
The judge hearing the asylum case of Olalekan M Ayelokun, a student nurse, has refused his plea to remain in the UK because he does not believe that Ayelokun is actually gay. He fled from Nigeria eight years ago to escape persecution because of his sexuality. He was deported Tuesday night on a charter flight back despite having 3 gay relationships and having alot of agy friends the judge didnt believe him. According to a UKBA officer he has lived in the UK illegally since 2003 that his visa expired. He did not claim asylum until 2011, after he was arrested by UK Border Agency officers for using false documents to gain employment. This one be like say e don enter voicemail.
