People are easily trapped by “the big name - zenith". Don’t forget in a hurry, how big names/banks like Intercontinental & PHB crashed, despite the “respect” and “profits” they were commanding in the industry.
The next in line is Zenith. Since the recent probe / investigation on Zenith started, the bank is gradually going under and has embarked on incessant mass sack of her staff as a rescue strategy. The next mass sack is expected to take place on or before Nov. / Dec. 2012.
Due to the fear of sudden/unexpected disengagement, the staff (mainly operations staff & pressurized/threatened marketers in the bank) are gradually calling/inviting fraudsters and armed robbers to attack any of their branches, as it is even as a matter of policy in the bank to oblige / cooperate with the armed robbers anytime they have such attack in the bank to avoid harming any life. Some of the bank staff are very willing to release any useful information needed by the fraudsters/armed robbers that will aid in any smooth attack on the bank that will lead to a quicker collapse.
Despite the incessant mass sack, the bank has resorted to use more of contract staff (only =N= 65,000/month) than professional staff, to avoid paying any form of allowance(s), all in a bid to copy GTB’s style and post more profit than them.
In a scandalous incident that has left many staff of Zenith Bank Plc perplexed, the management of the commercial bank has redeployed its General Manager, Human Resources, Mrs. Obi Ibekwe, to head marketing operations at the Coker Zonal office. The move is seen as a punitive decision on Mrs. Ibekwe for opposing the recent gale of sacks by the bank, and the on-going recruitment of degree holders as contract staff. Don’t be deceived by any of their marketers who is under pressure to bring outrageous billions as targets to continue any business relationship with the bank to avoid losing your hard earned funds or messing up any business transaction initiated with the bank.

Probably u have friends that have been laid off frm zenith and u all are bitter about it, bt this is nt the way to go. At least earlier in the year UBA also laid of staff, bt are they nt still existing?
