Kilimanjaro Entertainment Blames Wale For His Absence At Fire Of Zamani Concert

Seems the last hasnt been heard of Wale the rappers absence at Fire of Zamani Concert The NetNG reports:
Kilimanjaro Entertainment, organizers of Ice Prince‘s ‘Fire of Zamani‘ concert have blamed rapper Wale Folarin for not being able to make the show as earlier announced . The US rapper was to perform at the concert which held on November 23, 2013 at the Expo Hall of Eko Hotel and Suites but according to his label, he could not travel to Nigeria because Kilimanjaro failed to buy travel tickets for himself and his crew.
Well Kilimanjaro responded to Wale’s statement right in the middle of Ice Prince’s concert, insinuating that Wale and his team were nonchalant about the whole trip.
Ice Prince had gotten down on his knees to apologize to fans about the failed trip and then invited the event organizers on stage to also do the same. Femi Akande, Kilimanjaro boss then got on stage apologized but then explained that Wale had failed to visit the Nigerian embassy (in the US) early enough, leading to the whole drama. ‘Wale is from Ondo, you cannot take Nigeria for granted. If we asked you to get to the embassy by Monday, you can’t postpone that till Wednesday‘, Akande said. Wale had however explained that if the tickets were bought he would have still made the trip, even though he allegedly wasn’t getting paid for the show.
