The police at Sango Ota, Ogun State, southwest Nigeria, have arrested a cow following the killing of a 24-year old teenager identified as Azeez Salako at Ilata area of Ota, a suburb of Ogun State.
P.M.NEWS gathered that youths in Ilata Ota were planning to hold a carnival on Saturday 27 April, 2013 and there was an argument between some of the youths which led to a fight and one of the boys identified as Dayo broke a bottle which he used to stab Salako in the neck and he bled to death.

Woman Charged Over Acid Attack On Naomi Oni.

A woman is to be charged in connection with an acid attack on a shop worker that left her with horrific injuries, the Crown Prosecution Service announced today. Naomi Oni, 21, suffered burns and lost her hair and eyelashes after the chemical was thrown at her in Lodge Avenue, Dagenham, east London at around 12.40am on December 30. Read Here Today, the CPS announced that it has authorised Scotland Yard to charge Mary Konye in relation to the attack. CPS London Senior Crown Prosecutor Damaris Lakin said: 'I concluded that there is sufficient evidence for a realistic prospect of conviction and that it is in the public interest to charge Ms Konye with throwing or casting a corrosive fluid with intent to burn, maim, disfigure, disable or do grievous bodily harm.' Konye will appear before Barkingside Magistrates Court in Ilford, Essex, tomorrow. Finally justice is served , shame to all those that accused her of staging the attack.

Traces Of Female DNA Found On Boston Bomb.

Female DNA was found on at least one of the explosive devices used in April 15's Boston Marathon bombing, sources have said. Citing "officials familiar with the case," "there could be multiple explanations for why the DNA of someone other than the two bombing suspects" was uncovered that would not necessarily indicate complicity in the attack. For example, the DNA might conceivably have come from "a marathon spectator or a clerk who sold" materials that were ultimately used in the making of the bomb. However, police have not ruled out the possibility of an accomplice, and have not yet determined whether or not the DNA discovery indicates a woman's involvement in the attack. Authorities have visited Tamerlan's widow, Katherine Russell, an FBI spokesman confirmed Monday, and did collect a DNA sample. However, Russell has not been charged with involvement in the bombing, and is not a suspect at this time.

It was quite unfortunate to read a report from today’s Vanguard Online in favour of Yemisi (their staff), as against Chioma Akpotha who was publicly insulted alongside every Igbo speaking individual on that flight, by Yemisi. Besides, if some of us do have the franchise to suffer disharmony with our personal values, I still want to believe that in reporting a case, Professional Journalism should keep it quite professional by not identifying with any side in an issue of this manner. But this is obviously not the case of the Vanguard reporter who wrote the story between Chioma Akpotha and Yemisi. The reporter in question has proven to me that fiction can sometimes make a better job of the truth and an exaggerated relativism.

Two never-seen-before photos of Kate Moss taken during her first modelling-shoot have emerged after 25 years. The first roll of film used for the session was recently unearthed in a desk drawer by the fashion photographer involved and he decided to make prints from it. David Ross used three films during the shoot, with the first being a warm-up roll of pictures he took to help the 14-year-old aspiring model to relax. The images of Kate were later given to renowned model agency Storm and used to help launch her career were taken from the next two films.

The nurse who hanged herself after falling for a hoax phone call about the Duchess of Cambridge blamed the two Australian DJ pranksters for her death, it has emerged. In one of the letters Mrs Saldanha left  in her nurses’ accommodation in London, she directly accused the two Australian DJs of driving her to her death. She even said they should pay  the mortgage for the Bristol home where her accountant husband Benedict Barboza, 49, and children Junal, 17, and Lisha, 14, still live. In the handwritten note, addressed to her managers at the Edward VII hospital, she said: ‘Please accept my apologies. I am truly sorry. Thank you for all your support.‘I hold the Radio Australians  Mel Greig and Michael Christian responsible for this act. Please make them pay my mortgage. I am sorry. Jacintha. She had once attempted suicide in 2011 and was put on Anti-depressants.

Woman Removes Man Teeth With A Slap.

A 30-year-old woman, Abiodun Olajide, has pleaded guilty to removing her man friend’s teeth with slap while the duo engaged in fisticuffs. Olajide was also said to have inflicted wounds on Augustine Olukukoyi at their residence at Oguntolu, Somolu, Lagos State. She was arraigned on a one count charge of assault. The charge sheet reads, ‘That you, Abiodun Olajide, female, on April 18, 2013, at about 8.30 hours at Oguntolu Street, Somolu, Lagos in the Lagos Magisterial District did inflict wound on one Augustine Olukukoyi, male, by slapping him, as a result removed two teeth and thereby committed an offence punishable under section 244(a) of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, Nigeria, 2011.When the charge was read, she pleaded guilty.
The matter, which was adjourned until April 29 for judgment at Court 4, Yaba, could not hold because the magistrate was said to be ill.
