Adidja Palmer suffered a tough loss in court. After a 65-day trial, the longest in Jamaican judicial history, Vybz Kartel was convicted of murder. He was convicted in the murder of Clive “Lizard” Williams. The murder took place in August of 2011 at the dancehall artist’s home in Havendale, St. Andrew. The date for sentencing has been set for March 27 and as you may have expected, Kartel’s legal team plans on filing an appeal on behalf of their client.
