Lagos State May Varnish In 5O Years Due To Climate Change

This sounds silly but maybe it would give us some food for thought.! Experts say in 50 years to come, Lagos risks being washed away by tidal waves. It is the only Nigerian costal city that might go under if nothing serious is done to stop it.Climate Change and the poor environmental attitude of the residents are already assisting this prediction to come true. Lagos was among cities in the developing world facing similar fate. Cotonou, Liberia and Abdijan in West Africa were in the number. Preposterous.

  3. That is quite scary oh. What with our environmental irresponsibility. I live in Lagos in Victoria Island infact and i often dread the rainy season because of the incessant floods. If we could suffer that even now, its quite possible that Lagos may vanish in a few years wow id better go back to my United Kingdom Jeje
