Small Plane Lands On New York Highway

Authorities say a small plane carrying three people passengers and one pilot landed on an interstate highway in New York on Saturday. Officials with the city's Fire Department and Office of Emergency Management say the plane touched down Saturday on the Major Deegan Expressway in the area of East 233rd Street. At least one person reportedly suffered a minor injury.  Authorities say there was no fire reported after the plane made what appears to be an emergency landing. Emergency personnel were on the scene and the highway was closed. Fox News.

Man Beats His Cousin To Death Because Of Rice.

The police in Ogun State have arrested a 37-year-old man, Kayode Olubunmi, for allegedly flogging his cousin to death on Christmas Day. Olubunmi was said to have allegedly flogged 20-year-old Haruna Adeoye to death for eating up a bowl of cooked rice earlier given to him (Olubunmi) by a friend. Adeoye said to be an orphan was alleged to have eaten the rice while Olubunmi was away from home – contrary to his uncle’s earlier instruction that it should be reserved for dinner. A plate of rice, is that enough to beat another person to death? Have you ever been this upset?

Born on December 30, the young animal was named Sana Saida, which means 'Happy New Year' in Arabic. Since its birth, the creature has been attracting a lot of attention, with locals of Sefrou, a village less than 20 miles from Fez, flocking to the farm to see it.

A New York rapper once affiliated with hip hop star 50 Cent was gunned down in an ambush in Queens Friday that has left three others wounded. Jamal Green, known by his stage name Mazaradi Fox, was killed when a gunman in a black ski mask opened fire on an SUV he was in at the corner of Farmers Boulevard and 133rd Avenue just after 4pm, according to police.

SHOCKER - 15 Born Again Christians Return Examination Certificates Back, Because They Cheated.

According to Sun News Online, no fewer than 15 persons recently returned certificates issued to them by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC). They said they had to give up the certificates because they cheated during the examination, and now as Born Again Christians, they could not live with “the sin.”

Some individuals, Saturday Sun gathered, had approached WAEC through letters seeking restitution after they had confessed how they dubiously acquired their certificates when they wrote the examinations at various periods.
