Governor Aregbesola Bans Chieftancy Title For Osun Officials.

In a letter addressed to al Exco members Governor of Osun State has prohibited all public office holders and political appointees from receiving Chieftancy titles while serving the state till they finish they're public service.    
This is a laudable achievement because all these so called titles are just ways that these so called government officials steal from the people by paying heavily for these titles. Read letter below:

Nollywood Absent At The Airport To Recieve Enebeli Elebuwa's Corpse

According to Nigerian Entertainment,Nollywood was missing in action on Saturday, December 15, 2012 when the remains of late Nollywood actor, Enebeli Elebuwa arrived in the country.The body which was safely kept in a brown casket, arrived at about 3pm at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja and was received by the children and few members of the family.
The actor’s colleagues, executives from the AGN, and friends who had been paying tributes since he passed on were conspicuously missing, as his remains were moved away in a make-shift Mercedes Benz ambulance.
Burial arrangements are yet to be made available by the family members.

Kaduna State Governor, Patrick Yakowa and immediate-past National Security Adviser, Andrew Azazi are dead. They died Saturday afternoon when the naval helicopter conveying them from the burial of the father of Oronto Douglas, the Special Adviser on Research and Documentation to President Jonathan, crashed in the creeks of Bayelsa State.

A Nigerian nurse has been found guilty of manslaughter after causing a baby's death by botching his circumcision.

It is still not clear why Lanza killed his mother, who the Associated Press news agency reported had divorced Lanza's father Peter four years ago. A parent told AP that Nancy Lanza was a substitute teacher at Sandy Hook Elementary School, but this is not confirmed.

Traffic At A Standstill Because President Jonathan Visits Redemption Camp.

President Goodluck Jonathan has paid an unexpected visit to the ongoing RCCG at Redemption Camp of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) along the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway.
The visit has however, caused a lot of discomfort for road users along the axis as commuters complained bitterly, the Vanguard reported. While passengers were stranded at different Bus Stop for several hours, as security officers attached to the President closed the roads from Marina axis of the state on the Lagos Island to Lagos- Ibadan expressway. People spent hours on the road due to major roads been blocked by his security detail.

The gunman shot himself as well as his dad at home. The 24-year-old man was armed with four guns including a .223-caliber rifle when he began the killing spree at 9.41am this morning.

The shooter as Ryan Lanza, 24. He slayed 20 children and six adults after opening fire in the principal's office and then moving to a kindergarten classroom where his mother, Nancy, taught. Children described hearing loud booms as the gunman let out as many as 100 rounds and as their teachers ushered them into corners away from his killing spree.
They were locked inside their classrooms until police came and evacuated them to a nearby fire station. Images showed the traumatised, crying students hand-in-hand as they left the buildings.

Mr Kademi was said to have been killed by some unknown gunmen at his uncompleted guest house in Hotoron Maradun area of Kano State.
Mr Kademi was elected as a member of the Kano State House of Assembly for the second time and was a former Chairman Gaya local government area of the state, He's representing Gaya/Ajingi constituency on the platform of All Nigeria People’s Party (ANPP). The gunmen were on a motorcycle and had been trailing the Lawmaker for a while.
