FG Reduces Age of Aircrafts To 15 years.

The minister of aviation revealed yesterday that the FG has revealed that the age of aircrafts plying the domestic route in the country would be reduced from 22 years to 15 years. This is coming on the heels of the recent Dana Plane crash which killed all 153 people on board as well as crew and resisdents of Iju area. Finally i hope the owners of domestic airlines would comply.

Rep Recommend Oteh Sack Say Her Appoinment is Illegal

The house of Reps Thursday called on the FG that the appointment of Oteh is illegal and called for her sack.
The law makers objected to the decision of the presidency to bring her back when an investigation on her is still pending. According to the reps "she has shown incompetence in the management of material and human resources at her disposal at SEC".

Reps Threaten To Impeach GEJ and GEJ Responds.

The Lawmakers say Jonathan would be impeached if he doesn't implement the 2012 budget properly. He was served with an impeachment warning threatening to remove him from office. It followed a motion moved by Minority Leader Femi Gbajabiamila, he argued that the President was negligent of his primary duty of implementing the budget which would have addressed the Nations poor infrastructural Development. The lawmaker said while the house should respect the Presidents personality,there was a need to mete out the p[penalty as a deterrent to leaders who flaunt the law. He had barely finished his speech when he was interrupted by Karibo Soalaboye a PDP rep for Bayelsa who represented the Presidents Constituency in the house, that the house should blame it on the Finance Minister and not the President.
  Meanwhile the President has reacted throught the Special adviser to the President on Communication Dr Reuben Abati who said that the President was on the same page as the House of Reps on the need for proper budget implementation. We await the Budget implementation.
