Gunmen Attack Police Station In Kaduna.

Gunmen suspected to be Islamist militant of Boko Haram earlier today raided  a police station in Kaduna killing yet-to be determined number of police officers. A police source who witnessed the attack told Saharareporters that the gunmen stormed Kajuru Police Station, situated in Maraban Kajuru, Kajuru local government area along Kaduna-Kachia Road in the predominantly christian southern parts of Kaduna State. The area, according to the source witnessed heavy gun fire that overwhelmed the policemen on duty. Details coming soon.

Chris Brown Concerts Cancelled In Canada.

Four Canadian concert dates to be headlined by Chris Brown have been canceled, the promoter involved announced Monday (Aug. 19). Drop Group Entertainment owner Stephen Tobin decided to scrap the entire Energy Rush music festival following "ongoing conversation and consultation" with the R&B star. "In light of the performer's recent personal and health-related issues, a decision has been made to cancel all four scheduled performances. He was due to perform in Toronto, Winnipeg, Saint John and Halifax this month. Publicist Nicole Perna expressed the singer's regret that he will be unable to perform. Nearly a handful of sponsors pulled out of the Halifax stop because Brown was on board. Halifax's Mayor Mike Savage admitted to not being "a fan" of the singer's "behavior in the past" and wanted to be consulted before Breezy was booked to appear. The Energy Rush festival has been rescheduled for next year. Boko Haram Kills Army Lieutenant In Borno State - Sahara Reporters.

Nigeria’s anti-terrorist Joint Task Force (JTF) operating in Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State and a stronghold of the militant Boko Haram sect, yesterday lost another officer in an encounter with members of the extremist Islamist group. Two sources who demanded anonymity disclosed the development to SaharaReporters. One source revealed that the army officer, Lieutenant Haggai Bitrus, died when the Islamist group launched a surprise attack on JTF operatives. The late lieutenant was described as an indigene of Plateau State. Though the Nigerian Army haven't released any official statement, Friends have already started leaving tributes to him on Facebook. According to an apparent copy of the order posted on Twitter, it was made by telephone for takeaway and included 58 wing platters, 48 whole chickens, 12 veggie burgers, 24 coleslaws and 24 rice dishes - totalling £1,444.10. Former Disney Star Lee Thompson Dies Of Apparent Gun Shot.

Lee Thompson Young, a former Disney Channel star who appeared on "Rizzoli & Isles," was found dead this morning at the age of 29. Police confirmed that the versatile young actor died in an apparent suicide of a gunshot wound. TMZ reports that Young’s landlord found him when he did not report to the set of the TNT drama this morning. When officers arrived to his apartment at the 5000 block of Tujunga Avenue, they pronounced him dead at the scene. There is no word on whether Young left a note, and the coroner is taking over the case.

Islamic Militants Kill 25 Egyptian Policemen.

Militants in Egypt today killed 25 policemen execution-style in an ambush in the Sinai Peninsula, as the chaos in the country continued. The attack on police apparently took place this morning as two minibuses carrying off-duty officers were driving through a village near the border town of Rafah. The suspected militants forced the two vehicles to stop, ordered the policemen out and forced them to lie on the ground before they shot them to death, according to security officials. Sinai, which marks the border between Israel, Egypt and the Gaza Strip, has long been considered one of the main flashpoints in the Middle East. I pray all this ends soon.

Doctors have removed a 10cm long steel fork from inside a man’s penis, after a sexual adventure went horribly wrong. The 70-year-old visited Canberra Hospital’s emergency department complaining of bleeding genitalia.
